LEXINGTON, VA (02/07/03) -- Junior forward A.J. Robertson (Eden, NC/Morehead) drilled a three-pointer from the left wing with 19 seconds remaining to break a 50-50 tie and propel the Guilford women's basketball team to a 55-50 win over Washington and Lee on Friday evening at the Warner Center.
The Quakers (14-5, 11-3 ODAC) bumped their 19-17 halftime lead to 41-35 on a lay-in by junior forward Jennie Keichline (Chapel Hill, NC/East Chapel Hill) with 7:15 to play in the game. However, the Generals responded by ripping off the next 12 points to assume a 47-41 lead with 4:27 remaining.
