Greensboro, N.C. (12/1/07) - Sophomore guard Ann Seufer scored a game-high 13 points in Guilford College's 71-59 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory over visiting Randolph College Saturday afternoon.

Seufer scored all of her points in the first half on five-of-eight shooting from the floor, including three-of-four from three-point land. Her play and Guilford's hot shooting helped the Quakers (5-1, 2-1 ODAC) open a 39-26 halftime lead. Guilford made 16-of-30 (53.3%) field goals in the first half.

Freshman forward Michelle Brockman's three-pointer with 15:13 left in regulation drew the Wildcats (1-4, 0-2 ODAC) to within 48-39, but Guilford sophomore guard Katie Dailey answered with a three-pointer and a layup to restore a 12-point Quakers' edge. The teams traded baskets for the rest of the game. Guilford's reserves played extensively and outscored their Randolph counterparts, 28-6.

Sophomore forward Alexa Williams scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Dailey added a season-best 10 points off the bench, eight in the second half. Sophomore guard Jasmine Wood contributed eight points on four-of-four field-goal shooting, plus six rebounds, two blocks and three steals.

Brockman, who scored 12 points and grabbed a game-high 11 boards, shared team-high scoring honors with junior guard Sam Schaffstall and sophomore guard Katie Rechnitzer. Wildcats' sophomore forward Lindsay Cross shared game-high rebounding honors and added 11 points.

The Quakers host Salem College Monday (12/3) in a 7:00 nonconference contest. Randolph returns to action Dec. 5 at Eastern Mennonite University.
