VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (10/18/09) -- Krista Witmer and Bonnie Braziel scored second-half goals to lift Virginia Wesleyan College to a 2-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer victory over visiting Guilford College Sunday.  

Allison Lennox made five saves in Virginia Wesleyan's eighth straight victory, all by shutout. The Marlins improve to 12-3 (8-1 ODAC) with the win, which ended the Quakers' (7-9, 4-4 ODAC) four-game winning streak. Virginia Wesleyan is ranked fourth in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Division III South Atlantic Region Poll.  

Kat Adams made a career-high 16 saves in goal for Guilford, which was outshot in the match, 31-5.  

The Quakers return to action Wednesday (10/21) at league-rival Roanoke College.
