EMORY, Va. (10/13/10) -- Emory & Henry College pulled out a fifth-set victory for a 3-2 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win over visiting Guilford College Wednesday night. The Wasps pulled out the first two sets, 26-24, 27-25, but Guilford won the next two sets, 25-19 and 25-20.  

With the win, the Wasps (8-13, 4-4 ODAC) avenged a 3-1 setback to the Quakers in an early-season tournament hosted by Averett University. Guilford drops to 9-11 overall (1-4 ODAC).  

Senior Courtney Kozar led the Quakers with 16 kills. Teammate Traci Teague added 14 putaways and Brittany Freeman finished with 13. Taylor Whitley set up a team-best 32 assists and Taylor Phillips picked up 28 digs.  

Guilford returns to action Saturday (10/16) in a tri-match hosted by Bridgewater College that includes Marymount University.
