GREENSBORO, N.C.---Tobias Andreasson's goal with 15 seconds left in the final overtime lifted Averett University past Guilford College, 2-1, Wednesday night.

The Cougars broke the stalemate of a tightly played first half when Martin Karemalm played a deflected ball off the post and into the net for the early lead.

Both teams played an even second half with the second half shot count even, 5-5, before Guilford's Jake Elsey received a pass from Angel Valencia (Greensboro, N.C./Westchester Country Day) 20 yards away from the 18-yard box to tie the game, 1-1, with 2:08 remaining.

After a first overtime period where Guilford held the only shot, the Quakers held a 7-0 shot advantage in the second overtime until Andreasson's goal gave the Cougars the advantage.
