ASHLAND, Va. -- Jenna Burns scored in the 69th minute as Randolph-Macon College defeated visiting Guilford College, 1-0, on Saturday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action. The Yellow Jackets improved to 5-3-1 and 2-1 in the ODAC. The Quakers dropped to 3-6, 0-3.

Kasey Martino earned the assist on the match's lone goal. Burns tucked her shot near the right post to beat GC goalkeeper Cheyenne Grim. Grim had five saves in the game.

Randolph-Macon had 21 shots to Guilford's four. The Yellow Jackets led in corner kicks, 12-3.

Susan Dillinger and Morgan Henderson both had two shots for the Quakers.

Guilford next plays at ODAC rival Emory & Henry on Wednesday (10/4). The matinee begins at 2 p.m.
