The Guilford College women's soccer team visited Salem, Virginia to face Hollins University. The Quakers won the match, 12-0.
The 12 goals are the first double-digit goal total since 2015 against Hollins. It also ranks tied for second all-time in program history.
Guilford opened the scoring in the 5th minute off the foot of
Tate McCord.
Madison Green scored her first of three goals at the 15-minute mark.
The Quakers offense took off from there scoring six more goals to lead 8-0 at the break.
Crystal Rivas,
Zekiah Johnson,
Olivia Santos and
Leyla Strong added their names to the score sheet.
In the second half, GC scored four more goals for the 12-goal victory.
Baylee Greenwood and
Mandy Lewis joined in the scoring parade. Green finished the day with three goals and an assist while Johnson scored twice and assisted on two others.
Khaliah Jones and
Madison Musgrave split time in the net as each made one save.
Guilford travels to University of Lynchburg on Saturday, October 15. First kick is set for 4:00 p.m.
