The Guilford College women's lacrosse team faced the University of Lynchburg for the final conference game of the year. The Quakers fell to the Hornets, 23-2.
Lynchburg opened the game by scoring the first five goals.
Sydne Sawyer ended the run at the 7:41 mark when she scored on a pass from
Maggie Bryson. The Hornets added seven more goals in the first and then six in the second.
In the third, Lynchburg scored three more goals.
Kylie Horn netted the other Guilford goal with 12:17 in the fourth as
Maggie Hartnett picked up an assist. The hosts scored twice more before the end of the game.
Guilford returns to Appenzeller Field on Saturday, April 30 to face Greensboro College on Senior Day. Start time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
