The Guilford College women's lacrosse team traveled to Randolph-Macon for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup. The Quakers fell to the Yellow Jackets, 22-3.
Randolph-Macon (5-6, 2-1) scored the first eight goals of the game. Guilford got on the board in the second off the stick of
Sydne Sawyer with a helper from
Kylie Horn.
The Yellow Jackets scored three more goals before Sawyer found
Caitlyn Fisher for the Quakers second goal. The hosts scored the final two goals of the period to lead 13-2 at the half.
In the third, R-MC added three goals to its total before Sawyer scored a man-up goal at the 7:10 mark. The Yellow Jackets scored once more in the third before adding five in the fourth.
Guilford will travel to Randolph College on Wednesday, April 13. Start time is set for 6:00 p.m.
