The Guilford College women's rugby team continued its consistent season, finishing 2-1 on Sunday, October 15 at its home tournament. The Quakers remain in second place within the provisional south conference.

Jasmine Cartwright kicked off the day with two big scores against Emory and Henry (NCAA DII). AJ Jackson and Hannah Hatfield also touched down for 5 helping the Quakers to a 22-5 finish.

Match number two saw a variety of Guilford try scorers, Savannah Marchinsky, Cartwright, Jackson, and Jaden Gary all put points on the board to lead the Quakers to a 25-0 victory.

The last match of the day saw Guilford up against Lander University (NCAA DII). After a challenging, physical first half, Cartwright cut through the defensive line to score. Unfortunately, that wasn't quite enough to turn the tide as the Quakers fell 22-5. 

Guilford wraps up the season on Sunday, October 29 at Warren Wilson College.
