Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Guilford Welcomes Berry

The Guilford College women's lacrosse team hosted Berry College. The Quakers fell to the Vikings, 19-3.

Berry College started the scoring but Guilford responded right away with a goal from Sydne Sawyer. Berry then went on a 16-goal run to take a commanding lead.

Mackenzie Richards got two yellow cards so the Quakers had to play the whole second half a man down. Maggie Hartnett was able to net a late 3rd quarter goal to make the score 17-2.

In the fourth quarter, Sawyer was able to score her second of the day and the final goal of the contest. 

Guilford College hosts Bridgewater College on Saturday, February 25. Start time is set for 3:00 p.m.
