The Guilford College women's lacrosse team faced the Ferrum College Panthers in the final game of the season. The Quakers fell on the road, 16-8.

Ferrum scored the first two goals of the period. Maggie Hartnett found the back of the net for the first Guilford goal.

After two more Panther goals, Hartnett ended the run with a goal with 4:37 to go in the first. The hosts scored once more to end the period ahead, 5-2.

In the second, Hartnett scored the first goal of the period. Ferrum scored three-consecutive goals. Hartnett and Sarah Michelle Boyce went back-to-back to pull within three (8-5).

The Panthers scored once more in the period before Hartnett tallied her fourth of the game as the Quakers trailed 9-6 at the half.

The hosts scored three-straight to lead 12-6 with 14:06 to go in regulation. Boyce and Hartnett scored once more in the contest.

Ferrum closed the game with the final four goals for the eight-goal win.

Hartnett finished with five goals on the evening. Zenna Carson started in net and made 14 saves.
