For the preservation of Appenzeller Field and the Armfield Athletic Center, in addition to the safety and enjoyment of contests played at our facility, we ask that you please abide by the following policies.
- As a spectator, please stay off the playing surface, before, during and after all contests. Players, coaches, and credentialed university, security, and media personnel are permitted.
- Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are strictly prohibited. Additionally, no coolers are allowed in the facility.
- With the exception of licensed service animals with proper documentation, no animals are permitted.
- All bags may be subject to inspection.
- Umbrellas are not allowed in the facility.
- SOCCER AND LACROSSE ONLY: bleachers located behind the team are closed to spectators at soccer and lacrosse contests.
- FOOTBALL ONLY: No outside food and beverages are allowed.
Additionally, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, Guilford College and the NCAA promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. Please support all participants and officials in a positive manner.
Profanity, racist or sexist comments or other intimidating actions will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from any Guilford athletic event and suspension from future contests. If you hear or see anything of this nature, please alert our game managers or a public safety officer.
As always, Guilford students in attendance that you are expected to abide by the College’s Code of Community Responsibility while attending athletic events.
