Will Esten enters his second season as Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer, first year under Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, and sixth season overall at Guilford, being hired in the summer of 2021 and later promoted into the lead role in the summer of 2025.
Prior to joining the staff, Esten worked at Arcadia University and the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he helped at Jefferson University along with Council Rock North High School.
A member of the 2016 graduating class from Wake Forest University, with a bachelors degree in Health & Exercise Science. Subsequently, he graduated from Temple University with a MS in Athletic Training in May 2019.
