(1/23/07) -- Kristen Krouchick's basket with 25 seconds left broke a 45-45 tie and lifted visiting Washington and Lee University to a 49-46 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball win at Guilford College Tuesday night. The Generals' first win in Greensboro since 1998 evens their overall record at 8-8 (5-7 ODAC). The Quakers fall to 7-10 (6-6 ODAC) with their sixth setback in seven games.

Guilford erased a seven-point deficit with 7:20 remaining thanks to a 12-1 run that featured two of Ann Seufer's three second-half three-pointers. Kara Nadeau and Krouchick answered for the Generals and tied the game for the sixth and final time with 1:32 remaining.

After Krouchick's go-ahead basket, Jasmine Wood made one of two free throws with 18 seconds left to pull the Quakers to within one point. Guilford sent Bethany Ridenhour to the free-throw line where she made two shots for the game's final margin.
