Greensboro, N.C. (10/23/10) -- Virginia Wesleyan scored three first-half goals en route to a 5-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's soccer win over Guilford College Saturday night. The Marlins (9-4-4, 6-2-1 ODAC) broke a tie with Guilford in the ODAC standings with their victory and remain unbeaten in the past five matches. Guilford slips to 9-5-3 (5-3-1 ODAC) with its second straight loss.

Virginia Wesleyan's Josh Christian scored 5:10 into the first half off a feed by Chris Luce. The Marlins Adam Smith and Ricardo Brown would tack on two more goals in period to stretch their lead to three at halftime.

The Quakers host ODAC-rival Lynchburg Tuesday (10/26) at 7:00 p.m. in Armfield Athletic Center in their regular-season finale.
