Sweet Briar, VA (04/14/01) -- Junior attack Keli Donnelly (Lafayette Hill, PA/Plymouth-Whitemarsh) scored her fourth goal of the game off a free-position shot with 26 seconds left to lift visiting Guilford past Sweet Briar, 11-10, Saturday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's lacrosse action. The win ends a five-game losing streak and improves the Quakers' record to 3-11, 1-6 in the ODAC. Sweet Briar falls to 3-7, 0-6 in the ODAC.
Donnelly finished with a team- and career-high four goals. Freshman attack Kathryn Ragin (Pawleys Island, SC/Hyde School (CT)) scored three times, raising her team-leading total to 29 goals. Senior attack Kate Allen (Cumberland, RI/Lincoln School) tallied twice and sophomore midfielder Sara Walters-Bugbee (Princeton, NJ/Princeton) scored once.
The Quakers outshot the Vixens, 33-25.
Guilford closes its home and league season this Tuesday (April 17) versus Lynchburg at 4:30 PM.
