GREENSBORO, N.C. (9/14/10) -- Sara Lang took a long through pass from Jessica Jameson and touched it into goal to give Greensboro College a 1-0 home win over Guilford College Tuesday afternoon.  

Lang's second goal of the season came in the 65th minute and provided the Pride (3-1) all the offense it needed to down its crosstown rivals.  

The Quakers (3-4) owned an 11-6 edge in shots, but could not get the ball past Greensboro keeper Katie Allegro, who made eight saves. Guilford netminder Kat Adams made one save in goal.  

Guilford opens Old Dominion Athletic Conference play Saturday (9/18) at Washington and Lee University at 1:00 p.m.
