GREENSBORO, N.C. – Melissa Gallaher scored six goals to lead Greensboro College to a 17-6 lacrosse win over Guilford College.  Gallaher scored four times in the first half, which saw the Pride open with a 6-1 run on the Quakers that left Guilford behind for the entirety of the game.

Six different Greensboro student-athletes scored in the match. Layne Woodard and Ashle Nolen both scored three times for the Pride and added three assists each.  Brittany Ziobro and Micaela Sandovl also scored twice for Greensboro.

Woodward and Kayla Gonzalez both had five draw controls, which helped the Pride to a 17-8 edge in draws.  The Pride also enjoyed a 33-14 shots advantage.

Guilford's E'Leyna Garcia scored a team-high three goals. Kathryn Carella, Kaitlin Feeney and Summer Frazier all tallied once for the Quakers. Goalie Liza Mettler made 12 saves in goal.
